Les Armateurs is a French feature films and TV series production company, founded in 1994.

Thanks to its 29 years of experience, Les Armateurs has known many successes: Kirikou and the sorceress in 1998, Belleville rendez-vous in 2003, The secret of Kells in 2009, Ernest and Celestine in 2012, becoming one of the key companies of animated movies production in France. Its productions were rewarded with 5 Oscars nominations, 2 César and many awards in festivals.

Les Armateurs also produces TV series, such as T’choupi or Emma. One of our last production, The Long long Holiday, was unanimously acclaimed as the TV series Runes, an ambitious original creation combining graphic and narrative qualities.

The editorial line of the company is demanding, original and ambitious. It offers a creative and independent cinema for all the family. Every project is a company’s firm favourite, mixing artistic stance and a writing of quality. The last feature film of Les Armateurs, The swallows of Kaboul in selection at the Cannes Film Festival and Annecy’s Festival, won’t be an exception to the rule.

Les Armateurs is now producing T’choupi loves nature and develops major new projects as well as our next TV series Star Raider and Oniria.
